Building Software Holistically
Troy Robinson is a UX/UI designer with front-end development and product research skills, building interfaces and applications in a holistic way. Since getting into the web design and coding industry in 2008 with his brothers, Troy has helped serve the needs of small businesses, large corporations, and government agencies, most recently, three years with the Tulsa Public Schools' data science & dev team as the primary designer for dashboard interfaces used by thousands. Troy's tools of choice are Figma, CSS, React, JavaScript, and his sketchpad although he's constantly branching out from foundational skills to fit project needs.
Having grown up in Tulsa, OK, Troy returned home after studying in the interdisciplinary & business programs at Baylor University, in New York City’s Shillington design school, and in Tulsa’s ORU for a marketing degree. After school, Troy served 15+ Tulsa & national, large & small organizations with their web brands, sites, and apps before joining the cause in education systems. Fields of work have included oil & gas (OneGas), medical services, film, broadcasting (American Amplified), philanthropic (GKFF), construction (Epic Homes), arts & events (Arts District, Route66 marathon), law practice, banking, university research, government oversight, air (Tulsa International Airport), and much more.
Inspired by his time as a youth mentor, North Tulsa resident & high school coding teacher (Crossover Preparatory), husband, father, and by time visiting friends around the world, Troy seeks to approach digital needs with empathy and long-term vision, to see communities flourish long-term.
